Friday Five: Look Great in Your Bra Once and For All

One area that always seems to get forgotten when I workout is my upper back and chest area. You ladies know it. It’s the area that bludges out the sides when you put on a bra. This week I spent some time looking for and trying out some quick and easy workout videos that target this specific area. I narrowed my search to options that under 15 minutes, allowing them to fit into even the busiest of schedules. The best part about these particular videos is that they can be done from the comfort of your home and often don’t require any equipment.

The muscles to target when working to tone this area of your body are the pectoralis muscles (chest), latissimus dorsi (back), triceps and biceps (upper arm), and deltoid (shoulders). There are hundreds of free workout videos that focus on these particular muscles. Below are five that I tried out, but if these aren’t for you a quick Internet search for” bra bulge workout videos” will bring up many more options.


This video is a quick and dirty 6-minute workout that consists of 4 straightforward moves. Katie is adorable, funny, and makes the workout seem easy and fun. If you have extra time, she suggests repeating the sequence three times with 12 reps of each exercise.

Get Rid of Armpit Fat & Bra Bulge (5 Exercises)

This 12-minute video is going to make you work. Joanna leads you through 5 exercises that target your shoulder, chest, and back muscles. Joanna is energetic and upbeat. She is easy to follow and does an excellent job demonstrating each different exercise.

Attack of the Back Fat | Get Rid of the Bra Bulge Exercises

This video is short and sweet. It consists of 3 exercises that are sure to make your back & shoulder muscles burn. What I like best about this video is that all the exercises can be done using your body weight. If you want to increase the intensity, you can use a resistance band or a set of dumbells.

10 Minute Workout to Tone Back Fat | Get Rid of Bra Bulge

Yoga Secrets to Tone Back Fat challenges you to use your body weight to get rid of that bra bulge. This video is excellent for anyone who’s an avid yogi or is just starting their practice. Jacquelyn provides both modified and correct demonstrations of the different poses. Seeing the beautiful ocean in the background helps you imagine your practicing on the sand with the sound of the waves and the smell of the salty air.

10 minute intense BURN BACK FAT No Equipment Workout | HIIT at Home Routine

This workout is the real deal. You feel the burn almost immediately as Emi & Chad lead you through 10 simple yet powerful exercises. The video is easy to follow, and Emi & Chad are such an adorable couple. There is no equipment necessary for this workout, but you have the option to incorporate a small towel for extra resistance.
